    Spirit Guides

Recorded at the Tank in Rangely, Colorado, Spirit Guides from solo flautist Sherry Finzer is a work that simply envelopes the very soul, soothing with divine love and healing that captivates, charms and relaxes.

Ambient by courtesy of the incredible sonic sounds created by the structure of the Tank, the songs flow one to another in seamless elegance, encouraging a deep sense of peace, and well-being.

Over the forty minutes of melodic notes, the mind, body and soul is offered a time to be in the moment, to do no more than to relax into the divine sound, to allow healing to commence within the deep embrace of the Divine.

When asked where the inspiration comes from when she is recording at the Tank, Finzer’s reply was that it is channelled; it simply is there waiting to be put to tangible form. Nothing more complicated than moving into a mediative space and using her innate skills with a range of flutes is required.

Each of the ten songs can be used a singular meditation or collectively as a longer, more introspective and healing time, allowing a personal choice for the listener. To listen to this delicate, sensual and harmonic music is to float free of earthly bounds to return refreshed and renewed.

Spirit Guides taps into the ability in us all to reach out to those who watch over us and allow our personal Spirit Guides to comfort and heal.  A most gentle and yet powerfully rich collection.

  • The Duke’s Guide To Romance

    The Duke’s Guide To Romance

    The Gentlemen Authors. Book One.

Sophie Barnes has created a light, enjoyable romp in Regency England with A Duke’s Guide to Romance when she takes a tried and true formula, turns it around, then adds the easy to love characters Ada Quinn and the beleaguered Anthony Gibbs, Duke of Westcliffe as they discover the way to love, through the pages of a book.

Ada likes to live a very quiet life behind the scenes or rather the books in her beloved Uncle’s Bookshop, Between the Pages. She enjoys reading and carrying out her work as a bookbinder for her Uncle. What she does not enjoy is that should she be caught, not only working in the bookstore but reading the books she, along with her Uncle could very easily be ostracised from Society.

That would not bother her unduly but it would have a detrimental effect on her Uncle’s business. Then along comes Mr Gibbs, who really can’t afford to buy any more books as he is in financial distress. He enters the bookstore to brows the stock. Ada thinks is a closed shop and is looking for a book to read when one falls on her head.

One small chance meeting goes on to be the creative force behind the Duke and his friends, who have spent most of their inheritances on living the fast life, in the wake of their collective father’s passing. They are all desperate to find a means to making some serious money.

Jane Austen’s death has left a gap in the ‘romance’ market and after a considerably lengthy and fascinating conversation, Ada suggest that perhaps the Duke writes a romance novel! This leads he and his friends to take up the challenge, only to realise it is far harder than they think.

Well-constructed with a somewhat quirky plot line A Dukes Guide to Romance is the perfect antidote to cold wet afternoons or for a long lazy day on the beach. It is captivating, charming and sets the scene well for the further romances to follow, as the Duke’s friends are still searching for a way to solve their financial difficulties.

Sophie Barnes has included a very tantalising teaser at the end of the book.

  • Re-Writing My Future: A Stroke In Time

Re-Writing My Future: A Stroke In Time

Having a stroke in your early thirties is a lifestyle altering event, let alone when you are a person who was born with the additional skills of a multi-talented sensitive. Jan Toomer is such a person and when she suffered an event that saw her in a coma for two weeks, returning to everyday life seriously unable to remember much of her former life, unable to understand what had happened to her and unable to continue life as a ‘work-aholic’, her life changed dramatically.

In Re-Writing My Future: A Stroke In Time she documents her journey, her frustration at remaining undiagnosed for many years and the incredible help and hope she discovered on her healing journey. Intimate times in her life are shared, not in self-pity but as a means to reach out to others caught in a similar situation, offering her journey and understanding to all in an effort to help others.

Beginning with her abusive childhood as a child with unusual abilities and a parent who did not understand filled with fear and hatred, she details her life as her various skills developed, not for one minute understanding that not everyone could ‘talk’ with the frogs in the swamp at the end of the garden, and that trying to fly down the stairs was considered as seriously dysfunctional.

Her teen years were spent trying to escape from these ‘gifts’ and once she really began to understand just what she had been given, her life pathway changed dramatically. As she notes several time, be very careful what you wish for because more often than not, it is eventually granted!

She shares rebuilding her life, learning to accept the damage done and then working to find ways to rebuild her neural pathways, which have allowed her to once again accept and work with the many gifts she was given as a newborn child.

Philosophical and very grounded Re-Writing My Future: A Stroke In Time holds out a helping hand to accepting the new you, accepting that what has happened can be overcome and lived with, but in a different style than before the event occurred, which in many ways, from an emotional perspective is and was one of the hardest lessons she had to learn and accept

As she says the most important aspect of what she learned is to be herself- her full self, quirks and all, which is a work in progress and one that is ongoing. Jan Toomer hopes that by sharing her journey, she has ‘helped others through their life journey’.

  • 2020 The End of the Beginning: continuing the eternal journey

2020 The End of the Beginning: continuing the eternal journey

‘Many shall fear the beginning of the end as the world attempts to recover from the events of 2020; yet as a little butterfly flaps its wings to the sound of glorious church bells, the herald of a new beginning will be all that has ended’.

This little phrase may help make sense of the title of the book 2020 The End of the Beginning: continuing the eternal journey as it appears to contradict, or could be considered as an apocalyptic dictate, which it is not. The reality is David Shaw reflecting as he is living through the cataclysmic events of 2020, the early onset of COVID -19 and the effects it has had on his family, his community and the wider community of  Kilmarnock, Scotland.

Commenced five years ago and then arriving at complete stop, Shaw wondered why, after four previous books on spirituality, he should suffer a severe dose of writers block. Regardless of how often he tried words simply refused to be born onto the page. Moving on he put it down to experience and continued on with his work as a Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist and Past-life therapist, meeting regularly with his spiritual group.

At the beginning of 2020 his Guides decided it was time to recommence work on the abandoned manuscript of 2014, as a momentous event was about to occur which needed to be recorded and understood for future generations. The book initially was constructed of individual chapters discussing life journeys, spiritual influence and the many lessons learned along the way, each chapter with a fiction piece as told by different Spirit.

These early chapters revisited, now make up the basis of the work, with David Shaw adding to his personal journey as the world of 2020 unfolded. As the pages turn his words reach out as if in a conversation, one on one, discussing the very real issues that heralded a year of upheaval, distress, new beginnings, opportunities, change, distraction and sadly, death on an unprecedented scale on a global basis.

Shaw has used his contact with his Guides to try and understand what 2020 was all about and the ongoing ramifications of a world caught unprepared; held in thrall to a Virus that is rapidly developing the characteristic of a classic shapeshifter.

Fascinating, enthralling and enjoyable, he walks though his life, looking at issues such as perfection, forgiveness, love, success, truthfulness , failure, acceptance, evolution and the eventual ‘nirvana’, which in his case is the  deep spirituality and beauty  he discovered a Wailua Falls in Hawaii.

The question is thus, is 2020 simply a singular part in our evolution or something far more than that and if so, what will be learned; will life continue on as it did before. Those and many more questions are still far from answered, but in amongst the pages of 2020 The End of the Beginning: continuing the eternal journey a pathway is offered with a Guide to help along the way. What you choose to do with the information is yours to be decided as we all move forward into whatever the future offers, but it is to always be remembered as this book so dictates, that the ‘philosophy of the Free Dimension as bought forward by the ascended masters remains unchanged’!

  • Angels guides and goosebumps : spiritual stories about manifesting the life you truly want

Angels guides and goosebumps : spiritual stories about manifesting the life you truly want

In this second book from Kawena she offers a wonderful perspective on the reality of Angles in everyday life, their purpose and the many cheeky, sneaky and inventive methods they have for letting you now they are there, a part of your life, watching over you and trying to keep you safe.

But who are these ‘beings’ and where do they come from are questions, often asked and pondered over, answered by Kawena as she shares a small part of her journey to help with the understanding and acceptance of   this additional aspect of your life; an aspect which has been present since birth, often ignored or treated as ‘just one of these things’, but becoming to be accepted as a very real component of your life on this earth.

The other point of interest raised and address is who are Angels and why do we always consider they have wings and if they don’t, when they do offer a helping hand, perhaps this is why we don’t recognise them in everyday life.

Kawena shares her first experience of her Angels ‘visitation’, a connection which had a profound effect on her life at a time when all was dark, desperate and in dire need of change. She had found herself in a place of supreme loneliness, trying to find a pathway forward through the reading of self-help books. In an attempt to ‘leave the planet’ she became aware of the love of the Angels letting her know ‘it wasn’t her time’.

A subsequent review of her life to that point bought forward a number of issues which need to be resolved and since then, and with the love and help of her Angels, Spirit guides and others, she has offered her knowledge and experience, Goosebumps and all, to help others understand what is happening in their lives.

Angels Guides and Goosebumps is written in a very comfortable and relaxed style that takes a clear look at Archangels, Affirmations, Colours, with a lovely Section is devoted to other people’s experiences, which offer different aspects of the Angels, their powerful and positive effects on so many diverse lives.

Concluding the book is The Final Word which encapsulates in two phrases the very essences of the book:

‘Work with your Angels and Guides by trusting God, your intuition and your sensory abilities. Expect no less than the best you can achieve; by doing your best.’

‘Create your own happiness and share your knowledge and talents with others.’

As Kawena says ‘If I Can Do It Anyone Can!’ so accept what is there freely given, enjoy your journey into love, trust, joy and understanding to a far more positive outlook and future.

  • Children of the light raising an extra-ordinary being

Children of the light raising an extra-ordinary being

Written from a very personal perspective, Children of the Light offers a wonderful, cheerful and warm perspective of growing up in a life that was different, different from a perspective of extraordinary, meaning that life was for one reason or another not anything like the rules that govern what is considered as normal for your children.

Like many gifted and talented children, being born with a gift is challenging. Learning how to manage this gift takes time, love. understanding and hard work. Both Monique and Michael Morgan were born with the gift of sensitivity and the ability to be and live as light workers.

From a very tiny age they could communicate with spirits and as they grew older they were able to talk about regular visits by relatives who had passed over, prophetic dreams and visits from their spirits guides, Jesus, Mother Mary and Buddha, a strong and wonderful group of guides to look after and over both Monique, as she grew up and faced serious life and health issues, and then in time her brother Michael, who faced a similar challenge.

As Children of the Light they realised that they had been blessed by the parents they had chosen, who had always treated them with love, a firm belief in their ability and an understanding of their gifts. They also realised that many children born with gifts are not always so well understood, their parents struggling to choose the correct pathways to walk.

In what can be considered as a lovingly created ‘handbook’ Monique and Michael share some personal experiences, offer so many very excellent tips and choices to be considered in relation to their and other children’s higher vibration, issues that as they grow up, need to be understood and explained. The correct crystals to be used, a number of excellent of affirmations and meditations which can be used to support and keep safe and well balanced, extraordinary children, are all offered to help with their journey.

Beautiful affirmations, poetry and words of wonderfully wise wisdom are placed throughout the pages to make this ‘handbook’ a collection which will become an essential in the lives of extraordinary children and their parents.

‘Purpose cannot be chosen. Your soul chose its path before you were born. Your job is to listen to the soul’s desire. That is the true purpose.’ – Monique and Michael
