Master The Five Tools Of A.T.L.A.S To Navigate Any Storm & Remap Your Life

In her life as a Strategic Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist, Holistic Body Coach, Athlete and Adventurer as well as a mother, wife and a few other things, Jo Swann has discovered that people come to see her not to change the past but to discover a better way to walk towards their future.

When she begins to work with people, she investigates how they manage their thoughts, what motivates or de-motivates them and then introduces them to five very powerful tools to empower them as they work towards a better, clearer and most prosperous future.

The five tools or steps are known as A.T.L.A.S or Awareness of Self, Thoughts and Feelings, Locus of Control, Adventurous Awakening and Sense of Abundance; all are designed to be to be used at any time over a few minutes each day.

Over the five sections, Jo Swann uses her life journey and other case studies, along with enlightening stories to further illustrate the power of self-awareness, as well as self-discovery, and how this can, with care and practice, make powerful, positive changes.

Set out in a clear and easy to follow style, each section has Key Takeout’s, a QR code to tap into free resources, with questions gently offered to use as you spend your time in reflection and discovery. This is a work book as well a guide to a better life and as such there are sections for note making to help clarify thoughts and feelings.

Turbulence has not been created as a spiritual guide although Swann is deeply spiritual, curious and fascinated by all things spiritual; Turbulence has been written and is offered to help people begin their personal journey into unlocking their true potential, to discovering who they really are and being able to make the utmost out of the life they wish to discover and lead.

  • You Already Know

    You Already Know

By choosing to read this book, the author, Helen Jacobs, feels that you have made a decision to move forward from a past you have outgrown, to a new way of living. She outlines how her journey began and how she became attuned to “Breadcrumbs” or signs that were dropped by her Spiritual Support Team. All of us have a support team and it is finding them and trusting their voice, that is important.

Listening to your team, you need to balance what you hear. Helen gives suggestions as to how to balance the heart/head reactions, as we need both. Now comes the learning journey, where we are shown how to engage with our support team. At the end of this chapter she proposes a journal which has set tasks to complete. Questions are for the reader to think about and with suggestions she has made in the chapter there to help answer and confirm a direction.

The past is what it was meant to be and has led to your situation now. With this chapter you get to decide where to move, and how to move forward. Intuition plays a huge part in your decisions and again, at the end of the chapter there is an exercise to help with this. Your past has set the way for the future, but you have choices within that.

Step by step, Helen guides us through decisions with careful explanations. The reader also works to reflect on the journal and move to the next phase of the programme, with the journal tasks at the end of each chapter.

The tasks are thought provoking and demand a degree of involvement by the reader. Support and encouragement are clear and well set out. If the reader completes the tasks, they will gain a greater awareness of themselves and how to move their life forward. The reader cannot but move towards healing and a way forward with Helen’s book and strategies.

  • A New Awareness: Music of the Twelve Rays

A New Awareness: Music of the Twelve Rays

Richard Schulman has on this divine work, demonstrated his absolute genius within the New Age genre of music, a talent, honed over the past decades, of which he considers is channelled from the Divine, to bring to the listener the awareness, on this album, of the Twelve Rays: a metaphor for the Twelve vibrations to encourage self-development and empowerment.

Composed to compliment the book by Michael C Love, The Reality of your Greatness: A Personal Journey Through the Twelve Rays, Schulman has simply taken his Musical Soul Portraits, for those who wish for music to be created for them for the higher good and broadened it to encompass the energies involved within the Twelve Rays.

Soul Portraits are composed on the spot; he meets with a group or person, feels their energies than sits at his keyboards to create a portrait for them. Creating the album was based on a collaboration where each of the Twelve Rays, as described by Michael Love to Richard Schulman who would then sit in a receptive state, allowing the music to arrive, to be transcribed onto the keyboards in pure form.

Schulman considers this music to be straight from God or Spirit, offering empowerment to make change, to discover that the basis for change is already within, and that spiritual change and growth can be achieved through ‘conscious creation’, through understanding and acceptance not pain and suffering as so many believe: these are the fundamental principles behind the Twelve Rays.

The work is absolutely beautiful, designed to be a part of the healing journey as presented in Michael C Love’s book.  As each Ray is studied, the music particular to that Ray and set to that vibration, is there to relax, guide and encourage change to be undertaken.

As a standalone work, it is perfect for relaxation, meditation, empowerment and the conscious or unconscious invitation to allow joy and peace to enter to settle the turmoil within.

The first disc contains the 1st to 7th Rays which encompasses the Rays of Aspect and the Rays Attributes. The second disc commences with the 8th ray containing the five Rays of Soul, completing the journey at the 12th Ray where the listener is encouraged to understand that “We are Spirit and step into your power”.

Powerful and completely Spiritual this is a comprehensive body of work sent without doubt from the Divine to help connect to power, energy and awareness, encompassing healing, love, meditation and rebirth.

Richard Schulman equals Divine perfection on A New Awareness: Music of the Twelve Rays.

  • Grandma Forgets

    Grandma Forgets

In Australia during the month of September there is an additional focus on Dementia, a condition which strikes families indiscriminately with changes that are far reaching and can, for all members of the families involved, be terribly difficult to accept.

Paul Russell has, along with the wonderful illustrations by Nicky Johnson, woven a story about a little girl and her Grandmother who, one day, can’t remember her name, offering a fresh look at this debilitating condition and reminding us all, that while beloved family members may not remember your name, they should always know they are cared about and loved.

As the little girl has grown up she has spent a lot of fun times with her Grandma; fun times that have been created into great memories and funny stories to tell and remember: things like travelling to the beach in Grandmas bright blue car, always being told you look lovely, even when you looked a mess, a car of old ladies, including Grandma, going to bingo and having fun; There are so many memories in the little girls mind, so many wonderful memories stored away.

Somehow, it does not seem to matter that Grandma can’t always remember her name, can’t always remember the fun times and now has to live in a small room with a comfortable chair. Even though Grandma forgets the rules of the game, she always smiles and claps along. She is still Grandma.

Sometimes Dad is sad but holds onto all the many memories for them both. The little girl and her family now begin to make some new memories for them all and each time they see Grandma, the little girl always tells her that she loves her and it does not matter that she, Grandma, does forget.

As this is a story that is both poignant and educational, it is perhaps best read together, with the various issues that will definitely arise being discussed as they relate to the family unit.

Beautifully and sensitively written with a great depth of understanding, this book should become an essential part of any reading material required for families when confronted with this issue and would also be a helpful tool, when used in the wider children’s community, to raise awareness of mental health issues.

For others working in the industry of Health Care this is a book that could be included or offered to families who are beginning to care for a family member who is slowly slipping into dementia.
