Frank Raj has for the 365 days of the year, created a wonderful collection of poetry, Good Calling in Poetry, based on verses from the Bible, that resonate not only with him, but with many people throughout the world, over a wide range of religions.
Based in the Christian faith, Frank Raj considers the Creator, God, is The Great Poet, with his words reaching out to all levels of society, rich or poor. Perhaps Mother Teresa captured the sentiment perfectly when she said, ‘I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world’.
In God Calling In Poetry, Raj is endeavouring to capture this very truth in his daily selections of verses from the Bible to which he then adds a delightful segment of poetry to illustrate, or capture the essence of the verse. Within this dialogue he offers, love understanding and comfort.
Designed to be read as a daily mediation it is also a book which can be dipped into, opened at any page if there is guidance required, a train of thought to be considered or perhaps deep, restless emotions which need to be understood.
Written for the world of today, to help ease burdens, to help many cope with the tumultuous times in which we live, God Calling in Poetry will become a favourite go to source to help smooth life’s pathways with simple, comforting, faith based words.
